so what I am trying to say is . . . heavy on the one

my first guest post

Let me be honest, I obsess (usually afterwards) about almost everything that I write, and post. Yes, I am still in that phase. But . . . this post -- and how, and/or if, it fits -- has really troubled me.

I do revel in the opportunity to write from the hip; I find that it is often a great way to explore. But sometimes though -- like in life, walkabouts lead only to places that you know.

Thanks to Paul Anater at Kitchen and Residential Design for having me. I am one of eleven guest posters who are holding the fort while Paul gets some time away. Please check in throughout the week to see what is up!

Without further build-up, here is my first guest post: . . . heavy on the one

ps. Thanks to Barry at the Big Blog of Building and Mike at Home Path Products for getting my back, as always.

  1. jb, I read your introspective post on Paul Anater's "Kitchen and Residential Design" blog (an excellent blog to follow)and enjoyed it thoroughly. Kudos to you for explaining, in detail, the arduous process that budding entrepreneurs go through in developing an articulate message. The ironic part is that it looks effortless upon completion.

If this stuff was easy, well, everyone would be doing it.

    Keep up the great work!

  2. first my apologies to Paul for initially spelling his last name incorrectly, here. All the same, Paul still rocks and it is fixed now.

Mike -- you said it. the Question is often spoken around me (when thinking about going into business for yourself), "why doesn't everyone do it?" Because, you know, it is really, really hard!

Thank you for the feedback and a great article (on an unfortunate topic) to link to.

And honestly -- I am still looking for the right words.

    Good day sir. jb
